About math words

We learned how to study uni, bi, tri, quad… this week. I and baba saw on the internet that these words come from Latin and Greek. They are very old languages. They are older than English. 

I like to study them. I read them with my friends. If we learn them, our math and English become good.

Uni = 1, unicycle 
Bi = 2, bicycle 
Tri = 3, tricycle 
Quad = 4, quadrangle 
Penta = 5 
Hexa = 6 
Septa = 7 
Octa = 8, octopus 
Nona = 9 
Deca = 10
