Sharing your day off

By  Anita Bhattarai

In today’s class we did something a bit different again.

Today we shared about what we did on our holiday. First Tara ma’am said what she did on Saturday, she had built a small hermitage out of wires with her Nepali friend. Then everyone else told about what they did on their holiday. But three kids did not say what they did on their holiday. Then Tara ma’am said that now we were going to draw what we did on our holiday. We drew what we did on our holiday of drawing we had a small break to refresh them.

From Tara maám’s Perspective.
Mission: “what did you do in your day off?"

·      Sitting ouside, creating diffrent envoirment, because we want to speak about the day off
·      First talk about your day off to make the class comfortable which helps them speak up, give an example
·      Then give everybody the time to speak, if the kids don`t want, also ok after the kid finished, everybody can ask questions
·      Then give them the chance to draw the day off, because maybe for some kids more easy as to speak and be in the focus
