Making a collage

It was Tara ma’am’s second class. We were all excited for it.  We were told that we would be doing different types of art. Today we were going to make a collage. While making collage you have to paste clothes on to a piece of paper to form some sort of picture. There were 9 students who were going to make collage. The materials we needed were scissors, sticks, glue, and several pieces of cloth. Tara ma’am gave us paper and said that we could make whatever we wanted to with the clothes.  We could also draw with our pencils as well. There were many different piece of cotton clothes but I chose to cut pink colour with scissors then put glue on the paper and made a t-shirt, flower and the flag of Germany. It looked very beautiful. All student made different pictures by themselves. It was new for us. After we finished our collages we told everyone else what it was. It was a very fun and very sticky class and we enjoyed a lot.

Material cloth: making a Collage

·      Creating a nice atmosphere

·      Tell them what is the mission for today, important tell that everything is possible, no rules how to make it

·      Put the cloth and the other materials on the floor and let them try out

·      After 10 minutes if some kids don`t start, ask, give ideas or help
